What we are
The Blackhat Academy has staff based strongly in the security industry. The staff are comprised of hackers and network security specialists - along with primary contributors from the community. This wiki is one of the platforms said community uses to teach people, even those with no prior knowledge, what they know and how to do what they do. Any contributions not in violation of our disclaimer are welcome.
What we do
In addition to hosting the wiki, the blackhat academy staff also hosts other sites for instructional use like videosec - a site with video tutorials and Chimera Linux - a Linux Live distribution designed by staff for penetration testing, as well as an IRC channel and social networks. Starting in June, we will host interactive classes on a regular basis that anybody can join and learn more in-depth about the topics covered on-site.
